In the college journey, students usually have to handle several obstacles and go through demanding times due to the nature of the university environment. Given this fact, it is reasonable that the community there faces an alarming rate of anxiety, affecting students' performance and life aspects. In addition to that, students may get anxious without prior warning or even knowing about it, making such a phenomenon widespread. To address this matter, encouraging popular understanding is a paramount first step as various people are unaware of its possible adverse results. Therefore, with greater consideration of academic pressure and high competition, college students may be able to overcome the issue of anxiety.

One that fundamentally contributes to tension on a university campus is academic pressure. The difficulty of the college courses and the vast amount of work, which are challenging to be managed, distinguish the university from others. Accordingly, students need to devote extensive time and effort to keep everything under control, leading to a shortage of leisure time. This indicates they will not have time to unwind or entertain themselves. Consequently, students who have such a situation are likely to experience tough times, which in turn might negatively influence their mental health. For instance, those who live under constant pressure from the university are more likely to experience psychological exhaustion. Ultimately, the accumulated heavy demands have a role in destabilizing one's serenity.

A further trigger of anxiety can be attributed to the competitive environment. Undergraduates are typically concerned about their grades and scores, initiating a rivalry between them. Due to this, many tend to compare themselves with others, not comprehending their diverse capabilities. For further illustration, if students start this comparison, they will inevitably get disappointed and dissatisfied since they will see themselves as not doing enough and less than the others, leading to nervous breakdowns occurring more commonly. Taking everything into account, the circumstances surrounding learners, particularly those related to other peers, adversely influence their psychological states.

In closing, it is evident that the educational strain, in combination with intense competitiveness, has led to a significant increase in college life stress. The various levels of challenges students pass through, especially with respect to studying, are capable of impacting their peace of mind. Moreover, given their competitive spirit, it is ordinary to see students struggling while achieving the desired success. As a result of both, tension is a familiar phenomenon in the undergraduate community. If universities pay more attention and take serious measures regarding anxiety and reducing it, they should have the effect of making the college environment healthier, especially for learners' psychological well-being.
