Scholarship Essay Example

I have always dreamed of going to college. Not in a way where I believe that I should just attend some college, complete my four years and move on in life but in a way to pursue my dreams. As a freshman in  highschool I realized that decision making for college will be here soon and I need to know what I want to do and where I want to go. College isn't a place where the money falls from the sky and can get paid for easily, especially really good schools. You are obligated to  start saving the money now since there isn't much time left. A great place to start would be by getting a job. I am currently searching for a job that I know will pay me what I deserve and it is appropriate for my age. Next I would need to put that money aside for saving and not spending it. I truly have to focus and know that I am saving this money so I can follow my dreams and succeed for the rest of my life. I would need to save about 450 per month to go to an out of state college which is what I would like to do. Now, it would be great to get a scholarship so that I wouldn't have to worry too much about all of these savings. I play volleyball and haven't decided if I would like to play in college but getting a scholarship from an outstanding school to play is a dream. I know that a scholarship would help me pay for a college and it would be great to know that the college wants me there. Some colleges I'm interested in are Harvard, Yale, UCLA and some others. Although I want to go to a good school, I'm not too sure what I want to be yet. Some ideas I have are, being a lawyer, pediatrician, veterinarian, or a school teacher. It's difficult for me to pick between those because I have dreamed of all of them since I was a child. All in all the money moves modules helped me understand how I should start saving money safely and prepared me for the funds invested in college.
