My Purpose of Education Essay Example

I was brought to the U.S.A when I was only 9 years old. Since then I faced many challenges in my life. I had to learn a new language and a new culture and it was not easy at all. It was a huge frustration in my life. After the years I got fluent in English and started to love school with a passion and I tried to take advantage of each opportunity to excel in my education and I realized the importance of education. I looked for opportunities to be involved in organizations that helped me grow as a person. Today I am a woman who has lots of energy to learn and wants to be successful in life and reach all of my goals.

When I was brought to the U.S.A it was a hard chapter in my life. I was only a 9 year old girl who was afraid of the new world that I was brought to out of the blue. My parents have always set in my mind the importance of education. This is where I started to know that I wanted to finish college to make them proud and me as well. This is where I realized how strong a person can be regardless of age. I got up and learned English and succeeded in my education. I proved wrong those people who were making fun of me while learning or those who doubted me. In a very young age I learned to get up and fight for the things I want and to never give up no matter what. This was one of the situations in life that made me mature and see the world differently.

Being able to have the opportunity for education it is one of the best gifts life has given me. Starting from Elementary through High School I enjoyed and loved every second of it. In the passion and energy I have for school I got the opportunity to be involved in some school organizations, one of the best experiences was volunteer work and that helped me grow more as a teenager and be aware of my surroundings. I see education as a essential part of life because for me it is not a matter of trying to survive a class or trying to be rich I see it as a place that will give me the chance to learn new things which is something that not everybody have the chance to realize.

When I was in High School in my freshmen year I realized the path I was on. I was in the path of success. I noticed how I had all the tools in my hands to have an education and I knew that after High School they wouldn’t be over. Now that I am on my own, I am seeking for those chances because I know that if I don’t look for them or work hard I won’t have them. I am seeking for an education that I really don’t care about the price or how hard I have to work for because I know that I will do anything to get what I    want which is a college degree. This is what I was taught since I was a little girl, to work hard. 

No one has to come and tell me or remind me of how strong or a hard worker I am because I know. This is not being a selfish person, this is being confident.     I want to make my parents proud of me and be an example of how far a person can go even when life is not as nice.    I am capable of doing so much and I am ready for it. Nothing will ever stop me and I will never stop fighting, that 9 year old is still inside me, but this time much stronger and more ambitious. I know that the best is yet to come if I work hard enough.
