I moved to the United States in 2016 and finished high school there. I am a freshman at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD). I have been interested in higher education since I was a child, which is one of the reasons I chose UHD. My thoughts were preoccupied with the future and what might happen in life. Furthermore, I had previously realized that professional life is crucial. As a result, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in the medical field and advance my skills as a student assistant.

Every day when I wake up, my first thought is to get that master’s degree in the medical field. I chose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Biological and Physical Sciences at UHD to fulfill the prerequisites for a master’s degree; this bachelor’s degree gives me flexibility when pursuing a medical career. Science is more important to me than any other subject; I enjoy doing physics calculations and trying out some fantastic chemistry experiments. As I continue my studies in college, I hope to broaden my scientific knowledge.

Professionally, I am concentrating on improving my current skills as a student assistant at the Scholar’s Academy. I enjoy assisting students and working in an office setting, and I believe this is the best job for me. As a result, I will work tirelessly to acquire and master all necessary skills. I am proud of myself for working at the Scholar’s Academy and am willing to put in the effort to advance in that position.

After all, studying science at UHD and working at the Scholar’s Academy are two of my favorite things to do. I can wake up every morning excited to pursue a dream that I will work on for years to achieve. That is my goal at UHD and beyond.
