Public healthcare is government-owned health insurance that supplied to individuals that need healthcare coverage, who are also low income, disabled, and elderly. Public healthcare allows patients to receive coverage for treatments, exams, and checkup; these charges are covered thru government venders because all patient open faculty are governmentally owned and operated.  Private healthcare is healthcare coverage through insurance companies that provide patients with network clinics, hospitals, and many others. An example of public healthcare is the service accessible to them, “For example, white women are much more likely to have outpatient surgery than women of other races or ethnicities (Salasky et al., 2014) and Medicaid beneficiaries, who are poor and often disabled, are more likely to use emergency departments (EDs) than people who have other coverage, in part because they have less access to ambulatory care (MACPAC, 2016; NCHS, 2017a).” A patient using private insurance have an insurance company that covers healthcare needs, but patients must pay for deductibles, copays, out the pocket cost, and month to month premium cost. Private insurance companies have In-Network providers that comply with the Insurance companies’ coverage plans or claim report.

Utilization in healthcare oversees the usage of patients visits healthcare organization through the tracking of checkup visit, urgent care visit, primary care visit, and more. Equitable is used in a healthcare organization to analyze the data of populations to exam the disparities; this information will provide them with the different statistical demographics that are implementing healthcare and those who are not. The analysis data enable healthcare organization to monitor the use of coverage and explain care access and education need. 

Trends

Advancing trends in healthcare are the development of employer implementing a system that helps staff member continue to future or sustain their education and enables them to attain education while continuing to work. This method encourages the increase in patient security, patient education, and patient satisfaction. The next trend is the development of the Al, which is a technology device that allows patients medications administered through a machine that monitors the count of medication administered in the hospital. The demand for more skilled nurses will intensify as healthcare continue to develop toward economic demands of continuing education in healthcare.

Healthcare has increased the need for patient engagement to accelerate population health and access to areas in the population that need future assistance. Patient engagement will provide enhancement by providing patients with a group of physician care, faster and better access to care options through technology, and support tools for physicians that will aid them on treatment plan options. Healthcare organization are targeted drug cost to decrease cost in healthcare for patients and department that are administering medication.
