Macbeth, the main character of the play, is a round and dynamic character in the play for multiple, highly detailed reasons. He also changes while things happen throughout the play.

Macbeth seems to be very loyal to his cause. Still, after meeting the witches and the prophecies becoming true, I feel like something switched in his brain, telling him that he can become king. But then, we see how this idea he has develops so profoundly that Macbeth commits the act of murdering the king. I feel like his mental state, or phycological state, goes from good and ambitious to more ambitious, but in a wrong way. We see this in the quote, “The prince of Cumberland that is a step on which I must fall down or else overleap, For in my way it lies. Stars hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep desires.” This quote directly shows how Macbeth went from a loyal ambitious lord to the desire to become king and, in his way, plan to kill Duncan with lady Macbeth.

Throughout the acts of the play, we see various changes in Macbeth's actions and the way this character develops mentally according to what he experiences. A great indicator of this is Macbeth's horrible actions in the later acts we read and his interactions with lady Macbeth in line 45, act 2 scene2 Macbeth seems to be regretting his actions of killing Duncan  “I, ll go no more I am afraid to think what I have done. I dare not look on it again.”  This quote clearly shows that Macbeth's greed and desire got to him; Macbeth probably thinks of himself as a traitor and suffers from regret. On the other hand, Lady Macbeth seems to be handling it well, even offering to wipe the bloody dagger on the dead guards to make it seem like they killed the king. Lady Macbeth plays mind games with Macbeth in many ways, like telling him that he must murder because she cants. After all, Duncan looks a lot like her dad, and she would not have the strength to do it. If I remember correctly, she calls him a coward and makes pokes at his masculinity. I feel like she wants Macbeth to do the worst job of all, which is the act of actually killing the king.

At the start of act three, we see what people think of him. Banquo is beginning to notice Macbeth acting weird I think he found out because of all the questions Macbeth asks him. Wich ends up being true; Macbeth sends two murderers to where Banquo will be. He sent them to kill Banquo and his children. My prediction is that the children will escape the murderer's attempt to kill them, but we still do not know. Another example of what people think about Macbeth is when Macbeth is with king Duncan in the earlier acts. The captain describes Macbeth as a  worthy warrior to the king. The king proceeds to give Macbeth his gratitude, even saying that he should have been rewarded earlier. This shows how these two characters, the captain and Duncan, thought of Macbeth. Going forward, people will figure out who killed Duncan eventually. We all know what happens after that.

As you can probably see, Macbeth is a character that changes throughout the play depending on the situation and conditions. From what I have read, he goes from good to bad to regret and until now, back to bad, trying to kill Banquo and his children to keep the fruitless crown that he does not deserve; even the prophesies make it clear. My prediction of what I think he will become during this next section is greedy again. Once again, he will act without thinking through what he is doing, which is trying to kill Banquo, and his children, which will probably go wrong because of the prophesies the three weird sisters told Banquo. However, we do not know if Banquo finds out Macbeth's accurate plans to keep the throne he acquired even though he was not meant to.

In conclusion. With all these crazy things Macbeth is doing, I feel like he will do something he cannot maintain and pay for his greed and cold actions. And  Of course, Macbeth might become aware of their wrongdoing and deliberately pay the consequences. However, we still need to keep on reading.
