When thinking about life in general does one ever come across the thought of how different animals are from humans? People may think that we certainly aren’t that different, or we are completely different. Well as time has progressed it shows how one species has innovated more futuristically than the other. For some, it may be difficult to envision how a futuristic lens would form any way of life for either species. One may think the past forms species ways of life for the reason that is what they know and what they are used to. How animals and humans preserve their meaning of life is different and that shows throughout how one species has increasingly evolved and the other has barely evolved besides structurally, but why is that?

The book that is sourced below supports the question, “Fundamentally, is our meaning of life different from other animals/species?” in a futuristic lens. The book “Moral, Believing Animals: Human Personhood and Culture.” is a credible source since it is sourced by a well-known college, Oxford. This meaning if it is published by a college the book has to be informational, and unbiased since it is going to be used as a source for their students and teachers. In the book “Moral, Believing Animals: Human Personhood and Culture.” the author Christian Smith writes about creating a creative theory of humans and their culture that offers futuristic, and innovative answers to fundamental questions in sociological and cultural theory.

The main idea throughout the book is that human beings have an interesting set of dimensions and tendencies that distinguishes them from other animals, such as non-human primates on this planet. Smith finishes the book by sharing how going into the future the unique cultural ideals shared by both general species will continue to change and evolve through time. The evidence that has been sourced supports my claim due to the fact that the author of the book sourced above explains however since the beginning of time humans have always had a different view on life than animals.

He begins to write about how humans have a different set of dimensions and tendencies than animals do, which causes them to think differently than other species. Overall, it has been shown that ever since the beginning of time humans and animals differ from structure to thinking capacity. Once they might’ve had similar outlooks on life but it has always been that humans have been at least one step ahead with innumerable concepts which caused them to evolve faster than animals over time.

The website that is sourced below shows great evidence when backing up the question, “Fundamentally, is our meaning of life different from other animals/species?” in a futuristic lens. The article was written on the website titled “Resolved: Humans are fundamentally different from other animals.” is a credible source because it is written by a graduate with degrees in Political Science, Economics, and Ethics and Public Policy, and the writer won multiple debate championships.

Since he has degrees in Political Science, Economics, Ethics, and Public Policy the author is used to writing and debating by using reliable and unbiased information that can be used by others. The author wrote to “define how living organisms have long been an area of scientific inquiry.” An example of a way to execute this is based on their physical structure in the past, present, or future. The author continues to write about the differences between both species, their structure, and how they will likely evolve over time.

The evidence above supports my claim considering the article explains how animals (nonhuman primates) and humans are different, how both species have been tracked to perceive how they have evolved over time and soon they believe that they will increasingly evolve more over the years. In summary, due to the information that is given in the article above it gives more insight into how animals and humans are different based on how researchers have shown how each species has evolved. The research has shown how humans have evolved a great amount more than animals and are expected to evolve even more.

This website that is sourced below backs up the question, “Fundamentally, is our meaning of life different from other animals/species?” in a futuristic lens. The article was written on the website titled “The Fundamental Difference Between Humans and Nonhuman Animals” is a credible source because all of the information is coming from a biological anthropologist and his research that is being used to inform the readers about the fundamental difference between humans and nonhuman primates. The article is written to explain the differences between both humans and nonhuman primates and what makes them each different. In the article, there’s an argument that “ ‘we are apes’ is not a valid evolutionary one. After all, the distinguished evolutionary biologist George Gaylord Simpson wrote in a 1949 classic, ‘It is not a fact that man is an ape, extra tricks or no.’ ” The author continues to write about how ancestors of both humans and nonhuman primates have evolved over time structurally, and their ways of life, even if nonhuman primates think simpler than humans, there is still a chance for change.

This evidence shows how similar human and nonhuman primates are given another side of the argument that yes both species are different but they have similarities that they share. But as the article goes on it appears that the similarities are they both have increasingly evolved structure-wise and their ways of life. Concluding, this article sourced above explains some similarities between humans and nonhuman primates. The author writes about how humans and nonhuman primates are actually quite similar but it is still researched how humans will likely evolve progressively more than animals in the future, as shown by the progression of evolution in the past.

In conclusion, animals and humans have countless differences but numerous similarities at the same time. The differences start from how fast humans began to evolve over time compared to animals, or nonhuman primates. The sources given throughout this essay show how different species have different ways of life through structure and how that affects how they live, to brain capacities that evolve over time. To conclude that both species have different ways of life even though they may show some similarities throughout evolution that can be shown through a futuristic lens, that they still are different.
