The United States is known as one of the best countries in the world, and this is one of many reasons why the population increases each year. In other countries, the society/area is rough and living conditions can be crucial. President Trump is building a wall to keep people from Mexico from entering America. Multiculturalism exists in the United States due to Immigration, Various languages spoken in America, and Different types of Food.
Immigrations is moving from one?s current area/home to a new country. Immigration has been around since the beginning of the 1600s. Many immigrants came to America seeking greater economic opportunities. Other immigrants such as pilgrims, arrived in search of religious freedom. Many immigrants come from various parts of the world and have increased many countries population. The united states have a foreign-born population rate with 46,627,102; Germany, with 12,005,690, and Russia, with11,643,276. The united states of America have the highest immigrate rate than any other country. Most the U.S. immigrants have come from Mexico. As of July 2016, Mexican Americans made up 11.2% of the US population.
Various languages are taught in schools across the world. The main languages that are being taught are Spanish, German, and French. It is required that you have two years of a foreign language before you graduate from high school. Majority of colleges require 2 years of a foreign language, while others don't see a need for it. Aside from English, Spanish is the second most spoken language in America. In America, there are more than 37 million native Spanish speakers. Just as Americans find it quite hard to learn Spanish, it's the same way for Spanish people to learn English. Chinese is the second most common foreign language in the country; as well as the third most spoken language in the U.S. behind Spanish and English.
Nearly all food that Americans eat comes from other countries. Therefore, there are not many food products that originated in the U.S. Foods such as cheeseburgers, Buffalo Wings, and Chocolate Cookies originated in America. Foods that are served at restaurants are mainly from other countries. Restaurants/ Food places buy their food from trusted sellers and then are proceeded to serve customers. Boxes or packages that food products are shipped cannot be damaged or pre-opened. Food packages are examined cautiously before it enters the storage area to make sure it's safe to be sold/served. If the food delivered comes with pre-opened or damaged boxes, you must reject the products, and tell him why you are not accepting the packages.
Multiculturalism such as different clothing, religious traditions, and animals exist in other countries as well as in the United States. All three of these points have a huge effect on society in various areas in countries. Without multiculturalism, America wouldn’t have a variety of food selections, clothing’s, and races. The US of America is the country that is affected by multiculturalism the most. It's none for the greatest country in the world and there are various reasons why.
