Example Essay on Football

To most, football is just a sport. For some it is more than just a sport, it's a way of life and that way of life takes a lot of hard work and dedication. The work, the preparation, all the weight training and eating right . Well, as for me, I don't really eat right but you are still supposed to. The sport also teaches life lessons that you can use as mini aspects of life.

Talking back is one when someone a coach tells you to do something you're not supposed to ask why. This is also true when you are dealing with your parents. I have a problem with that, that's one of the reasons I get in trouble. I need to just do what I am told and not talk until after the job is done.   

The main reason I love football is because it gives me a way to release some of the anger that I have inside me. .it's It is not only just to do that but it also gives me a sense of family outside of my family. I know that I can count on some of the football players to be there whenever I need help and whenever I need to be picked up. To have that in anyway is good. 

When I started playing football at Liberty High, it was just for fun now. Now it's more than that, it's me looking out for my brothers and helping them because we don't have as many strong athletic players as we used to have so everyone of us counts. We all have a job to do and I don't want to be the one to let my team down.

My grades were also a reason yes i have mostly bs but me getting too comfortable  with that made me subject to getting a c which i did. There is no way for me to go back now but I can take that and push myself harder so I don't have to worry about being on the right side of the grade scale. 

I know that the life of a football player also has to do with his family at home and I have not been as obedient as I should be and I am going to improve. I want to continue to play football and track so I'm going to do what I have to do in order to do that. So talking back is over with asking questions. I'm trying to do the best that I can do. Sometimes I may slip up but I will always come back to fix myself and apologize. I thank god for giving me talent to participate in sports and the opportunity to. I thank you for supporting me and making me a better person although I don't like the outcome. It still makes me better and more prepared for life so I thank you and ask for another chance and some leniency in the future if I slip up.
