“We won’t have a society if we destroy our environment." In this quote, Margaret Mead wanted to say that if we don’t take care of our environment, then our future societies will suffer. We should be conscious of the environment because a sudden change in the environment may affect us in a bad way, and because the planet Earth is our home.  

It is important to be conscious of the environment because a sudden change in the environment may affect us in a bad way. The recent flooding in the Midwest part of the United States have cause unsuitable changes to the people and to the land in that affected area. The changes in the environment have cause many people to evacuate or even lose their homes, due to flooding, some farmers even lost all of their crops and livestock. Environmental changes can result in major changes in organisms and changes in many of our economic activities like we have seen happen in Nebraska, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Changes in the environment may result in many things changing, and by being conscious of things in our environment, we would be more prepared, when they occur.

It is important to be conscious of the environment because the planet Earth is our home. The planet Earth is where we all live, and there is only of its kind. In the movie WALL-E, the planet Earth was no longer suitable for people to live in because the people neglected the environment, and where not conscious all the trash that was getting tossed out into the environment. The changes that occurred to the environment in this movie help show that if we are not conscious right now of the trash and pollutants that we are realizing into the environment, then we could end up without a place to live in. It is important to be conscious of the environment, because if do not take care of Earth, then it will become more polluted, and our future generation may suffer because of our mistakes.

It is of great significance to be aware of the environment because we may be negatively affected by a sudden change in the environment and because the planet Earth is our home. With things happening on a daily, it can hard to be aware of things that are happening in the environment. But, in the end if we decided to take care and be conscious of the things that are going in the environment around us, the effort that we put in will not be in vain.
