Benefit Of Cell Phones Essay Example

Cellphones have been used for years with no adverse affects. In fact they have many proven benefits. They can call for help when people are in need and they keep families connected, which is especially important today. There have been no scientific information or studies to prove cellphones cause cancer. They are a necessary form of communication in todays society. 

Imagine, you are on a road trip and you ran out of gas. You are stranded out in the middle of no where and you do not know what to do. Then you remember your cell phone. You call for help which will be there within the hour. Cellphones are needed and it wouldn't make sense to ban them. 

Cellphones are a great form of communication for your social life as well. During the corona virus people used their cellphones to stay connected with their loved ones. Due to lock downs and the risks of spreading the disease families were unable to connect like they had before. Without cellphones people would have to find other ways to do so. People use social media to interact as well. Without access they would have to go out to interact, limiting the social interaction people have. 

There has been no evidence linking cancer to cellphone usage. One of the main arguments is the radiation they emit while people have been using radio towers which give out the same form of radiation for a longer time. According to the passage "many studies have stated cellphones are not normally associated with cancer".  

In contrast cell phones can have some dangers when not used properly. When driving it is best to wait until you are done driving to use your phone. Texting and driving is very dangerous. It can cause auto accidents that can result in death. Whatever you are doing on your phone can wait until you are safely parked or out of your vehicle. Although some issues are not completely proven the pros out weigh the cons when it comes to cellphone usage.
